KNOWLEDGE

General  knowledge is after all general. It is unending., never sufficient. It can never fulfil anyone.  The thirst  can never be quenched. It is just like searching happiness. “ Do not search happiness, it can never  be found”.
Our true desire is for real knowledge. Real knowledge is one and the same – anywhere and everywhere. Real knowledge is knowledge of the self. General knowledge is information relating to others’ experiences.  It is the symbol of others’ experiential truth. But the truth is over during the experience itself. We can certainly learn form others’ experiences, but applying it to the self requires courage. It requires great courage, will power and perseverance, to STOP everything and look within. Unfortunately, many a times, the easier way is to know others, judge others, preach others and live for others!
Be a true seeker of knowledge and it is all within! ……..September, 2009
